I just had a vision of Co-op replacing Etihad as our main shirt sponsor next year......

Whatever it was called, it wouldnt satisfy everyone, thats for sure.

We dont know who else was in the bidding or what criteria was....

Maybe they didnt want gambling or anything related to our owners.

Maybe they preferred local history link within their criteria or maybe

Coop offered substantially more or maybe substantially longer deal.

Maybe locally it'll become Manchester Live/Manchester Live Arena,

Or just "Live" who knows but i can think of many worse than this one

For the record, Oak View Group the capital providers for the new 23,500 concert venue bought a 10% share holding in Manchester City in 2019.
It will be interesting to see who will operate the venue.

They need to improve the transport links for sure. Get that ardwick viaduct curve reinstated add a station next to the athletics arena and you have a purpose made new loop line into the City centre.
