I'll take your word for selling out 'virtually'. What I mean is large demand for tickets. We just about 'virtually' sell out and I suspect we would not attract an extra 10k in more than 3 or 4 games in a season... particularly after Pep leaves. He's the magnet for tourists etc.

I'm absolutely sure that a Super League is nailed on within the next 5 or 6 years. That's when we'll sell out every game and have more demand than we've ever seen.

If we joined the super league we’d have far far fewer fans attending games. You’re deluded if you think City fans would buy into that.

We only actually 'sell out' the usual games, Liverpool, United, and the really big CL games. We may have a run on tickets for the final home match but that's about it.

Any extension of the North Stand would be quite pointless in the current climate. The club will be aware of that and should be reluctant to carry out expensive work

I think we could almost certainly expect to see the club invest in very significant improvements all round the stadium if we were to join a Super League.

That's what City and other elite European clubs will still be planning for. It will happen, it's just a matter of time.

I don't believe that. City fans are like any other set of fans. You charge £50 and people wont come. You charge £25 and they will.

We need a bigger stand to build our fanbase. Chicken and egg. However, I don't believe it will ever happen now. City missed the boat.

If that was the case why are there so many tickets available for £30 tomorrow?

Completely agree.

There are 12,000 season tickets at Bayern priced around £300. I doubt we have 1,200.

I know loads of people who’ve dropped away over the years, nearly all down to price rises, but some not just because they couldn’t afford it but just on the principle of a £60 price rise after a £75 rise the year before and a £50 rise the year before that.

We had 10,000+ applications for the £300 tickets in SSL3 when it opened. I don’t think 10% got a ticket. If we opened a new end and sold all tickets for £300 we’d have another 10,000+ apply but this time we’d be able to give them all one.

Deferrals, people susceptible to catching and getting seriously ill or worse from Covid so still not going out in crowds (especially on public transport), very high numbers Covid numbers in Trafford and Mcr and isolation, people suffering long term effects of Covid, people got used to not going anymore so aren’t coming back, people losing jobs and businesses due to Covid, huge gas bills, people just being more sensible with money so only paying for essential things and football isn’t one of them…

That's fine, all perfectly adequate reasons, but its not because tickets are too expensive.

I don't care what anyone says £30 to see the champions of England is a more than fair price.
