Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

I personally know quite a few hardcore home and away blues of the past who have sacked it off for various reasons in recent years. And that’s not counting the many on here who have said they feel less attached to the club than they were. The pricing of non-ST matchday tickets being just one major issue
Can't believe anyone can feel less attached to the club than when Swales was in charge? No one who chooses to sack it off is hardcore unless its for financial or health reasons

As for the so called singing sections if the club turned the tannoy off for 10 minutes there would be deathly silence.
So the answer is to ram deafening pop music and adverts down our throats instead? How does that improve the atmosphere?

It probably would be quiet for the first few games, but long term it would lead to a better pre-match atmosphere.

Agree , I think once the arena is open as I understand it there will be eating and drinking options built into it alongside the canal, that will be open matchdays, though not sure what happens if there is a clash with arena events. They should give much better pre and post game options hopefully.

remember when there was rumors of a spoons opening up where they are building this arena

Something is wrong when West Ham can pull 60,000 for their match against us on Wednesday night, but we can't sell out our PL matches, even though the team is currently 3rd in the PL, Pep is our Manager, and our team play beautiful football.

Does anyone know West Ham's pricing policy off the top of their heads? If not I'll have a look myself.

Its £10 adult and £1 kids.
It's also half-term week.

There's your reason in a nutshell.

I really annoys me when people keep on having a go at the singing sections. If it wasn't for the singing sections there would be little or no singing, or an atmosphere on a matchday at the Etihad.

Instead of constantly having a go at the singing sections and at the fans who go in those sections to sing and to support the team, make the effort and get in there yourselves, and join in the singing. You might make a difference instead of just complaining all the time.

There are some displays coming up. People set out those displays in their own time. There is no reward for doing that bar trying to improve the atmosphere, which hopefully inspires and helps the players and the team?

And it’s London, lots so called tourist fans. If your I londo it’s easy to get a ticket for West Ham, and the pricing is good even for premier league matches. If I was working in London that would be my team of choice at present. Especially when they play City. Cmon City

I doubt West Ham get many tourist fans. Their support is mainly local like ours.

You're probably right about ticket prices. I think their owners wanted to get the fans onside after a lot of unrest. One way to do that is cheaper ticket prices, as well as a successful team.

Average attendances so far this season.

*That Arsenal average attendance can't be true.
