Daniel Levi had the right idea. Demolish the whole thing and build a proper stadium on the site. It would probably have worked out cheaper than the current arrangements with scaffolding based stands that have to be dismantled whenever the athletes need it it.The Etihad was always designed as a football stadium, what is now the first tier was already constructed underneath the running track and the North Stand was temporarily built for the commonwealth games so it was a site entrance for finishing the football stadium ! West Ham have inherited a atheists stadium which is disguised to look like a football stadium with temporary stands and tiers added. It's not worked its a complete mess. Sold their souls by owners getting it for free in reality and now stuck with it. Unfortunately they will never be a top six side with their current owners or stadium @
I blame Seb Coe.
