No wonder the farmers couldn’t get any British people to do the harvesting and still can’t. I’ve got no sympathy for those greedy farmers and their slave gangs. I would wager 95% of the UK workforce, you included, would quit within two hours of farm labour work. Backbreaking and relentless. Nothing to do with ‘wanting to work’, harvesting and farm work requires an insane level of both physical fitness and desperation/hunger.
Do a week picking root vegetables in Norfolk and then come back and tell me how people on benefits are lazy
