Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

Posted by Word Of Mouth on the SSC-MCR, Hotel thread.

My partner works for the Hilton and I can share some news with you which she’s said she has sat on for some time.

Hilton are actively working towards partnering with Man City football club to open a hilton hotel next to or on land close to the Etihad, with a development partner being sort by both the football club and Hilton.
That would match with the original ‘freestanding’ concept and make sense.

Sure there was a sign up yesterday which mentioned a restaurant fitting company working on it.
They do a lot of work for City in the stadium and the academy. Decent company. A little of what they do for City is on their website (only been on for a couple of weeks). They specialise in restaurants and hospitality but do undertake other fit out works too so the temporary club store is well within their skillset. Likely to have some fit out responsibility in the new areas of the stadium too.

Have I missed something what is this @home building ?

The building just above the Alamy wording.

Used for offices, meeting rooms, general use, etc. Located next to the main Etihad Campus entrance, staff car parks, etc.

Hi Everyone.

1894 are surveying fans about the North Stand extension.

City contacted us and told us they want the extended North Stand to be an atmospheric 'end' where our singers can congregate. We will most likely work with City (and other fan groups) to try and make this a success.

The survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete.

It's specifically about singing/atmosphere. If you're not too interested in that, please ignore.

We are using the feedback to help us formulate an official response to City with our suggestions.

Please click here to complete the survey.

Thanks!

Another positive sign! Looks like City have finally heard the fans!

This company should be given all the contracts to design inside the stadium and new building that city is doing, they are working on COOP live at the moment

Think UFC bought Abu Dhabi and Silverlake out recently

Wouldn't be surprised to still see links though
WVE and UFC to merge
Endeavor will own a 51% stake in the new combat sports and entertainment company, while WWE shareholders will have the remaining 49%, according to the terms of the agreement. The deal values WWE at $9.3 billion and UFC, which is owned by Endeavor, at $12.1 billion

Silver Lake have the largest single 31% shareholding in Endeavor
