Went in last week, really good, breakfast deals...bacon or sausage barm/muffin and a coffee £5 :)

This video gives a historical account of the modern development of Manchester City centre. It references Howard Bernstein quite a lot, and includes interviews with Andy Spinoza and references economic data. The creator is working on a Part 2 to cover transport.

The video just touches on the Town Hall and Albert Sq but it reminded me just what a nice place that is and I am now really looking forward to it reopening. I have avoided Albert Sq for a long time because of all the construction work. Do you remember our trophy lifts there?

This video illustrates the potential revenue that can be generated by hosting other events at the stadium. We already have the COOP live for music events

This video shows how the NFL stadiums make money from games, it also gives you insight into what may happen with Etihad in the future, when they remove the turrets for the fans to walk up and replace escalators, making more room for suites, etc

In the USA, at the moment, the entertainment district is a must for every new stadium. cmon CFG, develop the land next to the stadium.

Stadiums in the USA have moved on from having massive car parks next to their stadiums, instead using clever design with multi-storey car parks and using public transport

Please look at the different sites throughout out USA. This gives us an idea of what can be done with the land surrounding our stadium

This thread exists due to a thread that started in 2009 when it was rumoured a Casino was going on the East Stand car park (I’m glad it never happened, should be something much better than a casino), with reïterations of the thread over the years with different entertainment ideas rumoured and put forward.

16 years later, it’s still a car park.

The only thing I’ve heard in recent years is that another hotel may be built there.

Not exactly exciting stuff. Another hotel for tourists (whose numbers have actually decreased this season judging by City’s ticket tout partners releasing chunks of tickets around the ground back to City after not being able to shift them) who take tickets away from proper City fans.

Meanwhile elsewhere !!!!!

Guessing this isn’t a sponsorship as it’s definitely going to be a related party with Khaldoon being the chairman

The PL and Masters will be requesting the company accounts, as we speak.

Just seen the bidders listed for champions, europa and conference league finals by uefa for 2028 and 2029. Bit surprised we are not in the running for any of them after the completion of the north stand increase in capacity.

I wonder if this ties in with the Puma led 'fan experience' spread over the 2 levels in the commercial building?

I can’t find a anything else on this story.

If anyone else can?

Looking at the webpage and the link/s from it, I think the article is made up and isn’t true. It’s just generating clicks.

The article has been posted in Facebook as well.

Happy to be proven wrong via other genuine links and websites to the story.

As we all know, outside of the people and companies involved in it, nobody knows what the plans for the Collar site are yet.

Get the feeling we’re seeing an overzealous investment in Padel, yet to see if there’s going to be such a sustained interest in the sport in the long run.

Middle class sports don’t last.

Is Mansour even on social media?

Edit: had a look and I think it's pure BS.
