I though that we wouldn't be moving into the academy till 2014 but I've seen 2013 mentioned in a few articles now. Can anyone confirm when we are scheduled to move in?

I guess the writers haven't researched properly. It's set to open in 2014.

BAM, a leader in sustainable construction and part of Royal BAM Group, will begin work on the site which forms part of the Etihad Campus, in the coming weeks and are due to complete the project for the 2014/15 season.

Had the pleasure of sitting with the Mrs today on Level 2 of the South Stand. So I managed to get a few pics from one of the spirals.

Is that a piling machine? (white and green)

Panoramic shot showing the Super Casino/Collar Site(temp car park), Apartments, Velodrome, National BMX Centre, ASDA, Manchester City Training Academy(in the distance and under construction) pedestrian route to and from the stadium(where the bridge linking the Etihad Campus to the Manchester City Training Academy will be located), and the away fans coch park.(PHEW!)

Was the big display with card holder's names (I think) new for today? I go to every game and haven't seen this before and judging by the crowd around it, thought it must be new. My eyesight is so bad I couldn't see high enough to see if my name was on there. :)

Yeah it starts with surnames beginning with A, and ends at the bottom with ones beginning with R.

What about the rest of us eh?!?!?!??!?!?!?

We park the car round the back of the new campus and some 2 months or so ago we saw massive pipes lay partially horizontal in the ground and found out that my company had had cranes on there laying them and apparently the whole campus is going to be self sufficient in water which includes the catching,using then recycling it for re use, I hope in the future I get to go on there with my crane as I never got a chance to work on the main stadium for the games...

Ha hahaahhhaa - There are 2 of them mate - One of each side of the ground. I really thought they looked good. Me,my son and my mums names all there right in the middle.Nice touch
