That would look quality and fit in with the other plans.

The gas holder is shown on them by the way so think it is staying.

Love this idea, would all tie in with the whole Etihad Campus and redeveloping the area around to match the worldwide stature we are heading for.

do we own carrington outright,and if so ,i presume the land will be sold to a developer,what kind of income can city expect from this ?anyone please.

We lease Carrington

It used to be Shell Chemicals' recreation centre.

I used to play sunday league on those very pitches although they are now somewhat improved, as no doubt are the changing bar facilities ;-)

I think I read somewhere that our facilities there will be used by the community after we move.

That looks great. I wouldn't mind seeing something like that happen to the one near the stadium.

the land at carrington is unsuitable for building on and is probably leased from the company that took on Shell's site . Maybe a golf course or equestrian centre. City might even have to pay for demolition of buildings on site.
