IIRC on the original plans there were a couple of half size pitches. Can't believe for one minute that something like this will have been over-looked............*he says hopefully* :)

There is only one half size pitch and it aint for the youngsters.

yep

great interveiw again and says its all been setup and confirmed and paid for by the owners i can see it done before 2015 rugby world cup so next summer looks like the right time for it

Thought the half pitch(es) were for the keepers??

In our academy there are quite a few of the younger age groups who don't play 11 a side, yet all of the pitches are 11 a side.
They'll probably just use cones etc which is fine, but for the best academy in the world I thought it might have been something they'd consider.

Just because the pitch is full size it doesn't mean it has to be marked out as one

Part of the site for the new Beswick Community Hub & Connell Sixth Form College has been fenced off. This backs onto the new training complex.
