that is a sectional drawing and it is the SOUTH STAND.
Look on the right side on how the roof slopes.

What I was alluding to , if that section is correct which it appears to be , is in essence a bit of a simple infill and certainly nowhere near the half of the 12 K extra seats thet we have been assuming

Sorry if im being a bit thick here, but if the drawing is of the south stand, then surely it shows a third tier added, which seems to be a lot more than a 'bit of a simple fill' ?

That's what I thought. Looks like a drawing of one of the existing 3 tier stands with additional seats in the corner of the 3rd tier where the screens are. But Toffee Balls sounds like he knows what he's talking about

If you look at jrb's photo you will see that in the 2nd larger red circle suspended from the existing roof is the new 3rd tier infill (diagonal line with roughly 10 rows of new seating terrace).
In effect , slung from the roof above the legends lounge.

Well done young man , that is good enough for me to start working out contruction costs. I remember acknowledging this to myself at the time but we seem to have been swept away a bit with the 60 k capacity being the right fit (tail wagging the dog there I'm afraid)

I have no doubt that the hoarding diagram is an accurate working section and that is what will be unveiled.
On a positive note , this can be done quickly and the only area I can see being really effected is the legends lounge.
Perhaps Disco Steve can give us his best guess of the revised capacity once both ends are done.
