Almost got knocked down yesterday crossing Alan Turing Way. :-? Thankfully I stepped back at the last moment.

Anyway.

I'll post the pictures in 4 lots, as I took about 75 pictures.

1. Beswick Community Hub and Connell Sixth Form College.
2. Pedestrian Bridge.(connecting the stadium and training academy)

Trees , hedges, etc. (Alan Turing Way)

In total, 2000 pine trees will be planted around the training academy.

The construction worker gives a good indicator of how tall the pine trees currently are.
No doubt they will grow even taller as the years pass.

A few things to note.

The 2nd picture shows what the exterior grey tubular cladding will look like on the buildings.

The windows are now going in at Mini-COMS.

The grass is starting to grow on some of the training pitches.

The final picture shows a panoramic shot from the back of the training academy.

Perm the rest. I'm sure something else will catch your eyes.

As for the trees, I have been reliably informed that they typically grow around 1ft per year, but have been known to grow up to 3ft if the weather conditions favor them; rain and sun in equal amounts - so I guess the ones at the campus will grow the 1ft per annum :-)

TV cameras, spoke to a steward about them, got one right in front of me.

3D TV?

The steward on my level said that it was something to do with a dictate from Europe that we had to have a minimum of 25 camera positions
