Surely anything we build on the collar site is immaterial to FFPR? Doesn't it have to be football related in some way?

The capital cost would not be counted towards FFP but any revenue generated would be.

The day to day running costs of the academy is going to increase and you would imagine to be significant that will impact on our FFP statement. Not sure where we would make significant money out of the academy other than sponsorship.

Yes absolutely, hard one to predict though.

Was looking at the old planning portal on the stadiums postcode and in 2009 the two storey building (visitors centre) was for.... 5 years. That's next year when work on the stand should comments. Slick!

Investment in stadiums, infrastructure and youth development is outside ffp.

We are in the fortunate position of having an owner who can fund these things without it affecting the funding of the first team. Unlike say, Arsenal, whose investment in a new stadium has impacted on what has happened on the pitch.

Its almost as if they have a plan or something isnt it? ;-)

With that in mind lets not forget that there is a time limit for work to begin on the collar site (previously owned by MCC and 'gifted' to the Joint Venture MCC/MCFC) which I think is now 6 years from now.

If it generates income to the club in the vicinity of the stadium it´s football related income...
