Hate to say it but Spurs' looks swisher than the projected images of how ours will look....though now I look again they are quite similar!

Ours is on a different scale. End of.

Although Spurs have far exceeded our investment in facilities for the local community.........

Its amazing how some people seem to fail to equate £'s invested to quality of facility.

The site, as far as I can tell, will end up being the most expensive training facility in football and thats if you ignore the peripheral community investment in the college etc

I am genuinely excited by what the club are creating.

Can't believe the change since the last set of pictures.

The other pictures will be uploaded either today or tomorrow.

Only just noticed. They've taken down the 2 static cranes and brought in 8 mobile cranes. Guessing. Possibly behind schedule?

But back on topic for the thread -

Mutterings about some Sky 'investment' in Manchester cycling are doing the rounds so it might be over at the Velodrome?

Any more on that? Is it doing the rounds on the twitformation superhighway?
Of course, that's where the Sky cycling team are based...and the velodrome could do with a bit of a 'reboot' perhaps...other that I'm stumped?

A mate, who is a crazy mental cyclist, was talking to me about it.

When I checked I was amazed that the velodrome and other stuff doesnt have a lead sponsor.

Seems they are throwing money away with that dont you?

A very well connected kid told me today that Emirates have been seriously sniffing around getting thier own race team together, if that's true (the kid who told me is not a football fan and very well connectedi cycle world) then i can't imagine the boys at eitihad don't know about it.

No.

It's just the mound of soil that slopes down that gives the impression of a sloped pitch.

I can confirm the pitch is indeed flat. :-)
