Personally I think 3500 registered and it's not until 2015 is a tremendous start, you could easily double that by 2015, so to I believe they will expand both ends at the same time.

In hindsight, I think you're correct.

3500 new season ticket holders willing to pay £100 upfront isn't bad.

Me too. I think it would be incredibly short sighted of the club to only expand one end, with 3500 ready to jump at the chance of a seasoncard now. Imagine what the demand will be like once it is built and ready to open. Both ends at the same time seems like the more feasible of the two options.

It goes back to the old adage of "build it and they will come..."

The thing about the waiting list, how many are new supporters and how many are people already with season tickets. If the large percentage is relocations we aren't actually gaining.

That's true GX, but many on here and others will relocate from level 2 after being priced out.

Wonder if some of those People are included in that figure, or if it's new season ticket holders only?

Weren't current season ticket holders given priority on the new and cheaper season tickets?

Existing ST holders were told they would be given priority for the cheaper seats. I am guessing any left after this would then go to the waiting list.

The 3.5k figure is for new people who want a ST. They normally expect between a 5% and 10% non renewal each season so I would imagine most will get a chance next year anyway.

The change on site is weekly now.

TBF it's getting harder to get good pictures.

The mesh fencing and hoarding is very good ATM, with only a few holes/vantage points. And the earth mounds around the inside of the site are much higher as well, obscuring any other good vantage points.

In fact, the vantage point near the Nat West Bank(cough!) has been blocked by massive(arf!) earth mounds.

Still, where there's a will, there's a way. ;-)

Note the grey tubular cladding and how it's fixed to the grey wooden boards. Cast your mind back to the original piece of tubular cladding which was on display on the site. It was light blue. Has anyone still got that picture?
