Scotland is like a jobless 25 yr old that still lives at home. Wants to go it alone and be 'independent' but still needs handouts to survive. This is how the crazy UK out/EU in stance of the SNP has come about. They are a single issue party that should have sunk without trace after the referendum, but the implosion of Scottish labour caused a power vacuum that they are grateful to fill.

Spot on
PMSL Best analogy I have seen on this

Exactly. And why would the Scots want to change it? The only reason for the SNP existence is to push for independence from the UK. They failed the first time but need to keep voters on side by promising yet another go. The reality is that if they ever gain independence (which I doubt) they wouldn't know what the hell to do with themselves. Like your analogy the jobless 25 year old leaves home, finds a flat and then realises he can't afford it and wants to go back to mum and dad who have come to their senses and realise that they've been subsidising a liability for years and have changed all the locks on the doors.

Exactly this. The SNP is totally single issue, a credibility crisis looms.

Lets be honest Cameron has blown this with his project fear general public have seen through Lynton's negative dog whistle politics its become rather predictable. The general public don't believe the bogeyman is going to going to get us. The real fear is that these little Englanders might get their way and this gamble he has took will seriously backfire on us.

You mean we're not all going to be wearing bin bags and eating woodshavings if we vote to leave? I'm gobsmacked at this revelation. ;)

For Scotland read England for Uk read the EU. You get the arguments and you can see the issue and thinking in others just not yourselves.

When I hear Brexiters I just hear Scottish nationalists , the same logic, same thinking, same optimism, same arguments.its just funny to see people spot all the flaws in their own arguments in someone else's .

As with the leave movement that doesn't matter, just get what you want and fuck the consequences
Most Brexiters are single issue too. When one thing is the answer to everything it's like some kind of political heroin addiction

The difference is that an independent Scotland would be almost instantly bankrupt with the current oil price. Any post brexit doom for the UK is pure speculation, and as we are a net contributor unlikely in the short term. Poor comparison, you usually do better than this.
