Did Cameron get any agreement when he said that we didn't want further closer political union? Because somebody wasn't listening.

It's odd isn't it that even with close polls nobody in the government has said what the plan would be if leave won the vote yet meetings have been held in Europe precisely to discuss how they might cope it we left. They seem to be taking it more seriously than our own government.

If we vote leave then the splitting process is 2 years, so plenty of time to abandon ship

An excerpt from a balanced view of the referendum....

The reason I’m voting Leave is because such accountability is missing in the EU. We have no idea who makes the decisions that affect us. We do not know the person responsible for each of the myriad of choices imposed on the millions of people who must do as they are told. There is no cabinet minister’s name attached to an ‘EU Directive’. Parliament cannot overthrow it. As a result of that ongoing and unstoppable anonymity, power becomes absolute and absolute power corrupts absolutely, regardless of the intentions of those who wield it.

Who'd still listen to these expense account robbing cunts?!?!

Well put. That's the reason some idiots like me still want out even if there is economic hardship. Something just doesn't ring true with the EU legislative process, and without wishing to flog the Hitler comparison again many of us are old enough to have had grandads that fought to preserve our parliamentary democracy and rights to self governance.
