I wonder what the hidden costs to the public will be on an exit vote, for example, passports, all uk passports are eu passports and will likely have to be renewed. Which is £80 odd a pop each. And x million in tax payers money for the re design.

Passports are the property of the Crown and are issued under the Royal Prerogative.

Hell hath no fury like a former European ally and friend scorned. The debate must be going badly for project fear,
I would suggest Blueishswede is going to be ok when the UK goes to the dogs so doesn't need fury, possibly benevolent sadness. Ultimately when people are headstrong and blind to doing something foolish and ultimately against their interests then the emotion get is sympathy and in some ways pity.

Fury perhaps comes when years later they whinge at you and try and blame you for their errors.

The fury will come from the north, Wales, Scotland when they suffer hugely and the U.K. Fractures into an England run for and by the south east and ultimately a one party state that is against the NHS, workers rights and is run in the interest of a very small group of the population. i am sure the destruction of socialised medicine they despise will be a triumph the destruction of the Union maybe not?

Not being able to afford it and being irellevant will take them away

I think it's safe to say that if we exit the one industry we will expand will be the military. For our use and for exporting.

The only way we lose our nukes is by using them and not being able to replace the uranium, but if we fired the hundreds of nukes we have it's safe to say we won't be needing to replace that as we will a wasteland in a nuclear winter.

I've seen some very weird claims in this debate but that one has to be the weirdest one ever!. We independently developed our nuclear program, were the 3rd country to test one and have the 4th largest stockpile of warheads in the world.

What makes you think we would have to give them up?
They will soon enough though be gone , Britain long term can't afford them

What's Swedish for "she's got a right strop on"?
Who's going to force the UK to disarm, Sweden?

In fairness the swedes can be quite bolshy, some think they are generally fence sitting non entities but no, cross a swede and he will show you a flow chart or enter into meaningful dialogue

Mad scary bastards

Watch your backs or a focus group will be on your arse

well apart from agreeing that we would would never need to give them up, as everyone knows we would never use them, rather like having a car so expensive stored in the garage that you could neither afford to run it correctly nor have the resources to repair it, if an uninsured clown hit it. However, hey ho, it is there if we ever need it. Kids need new shoes? Dont worry love we have a fucking mega expensive car in the garage and all the neighbours know it, so they will be really really impressed with us.

Or as tory boy and EU outer Phillip Hammond said recently
"North Korea seem to think possessing a nuclear weapon makes them safe, in fact it's the opposite. Having a nuclear weapon makes them a target."
I wish he would make his mind up.... does nuclear weapons make you safe? or a target?
