It's the thing about this vote , yes there is fear mongering by I need yes there is a lot needed to improve Europe but.......

The outters have no concept at all about WHT Britains future is, what industries we can compete in long term, how we will replace immigration needed or the money coming from growth it brings. I have not heard once any argument about what we offer long term to China to NAFTA to India or anyone other than a market that they can flood with their cheap goods.

I think the inners do lack a strategy and ideas but it is fairly obvious now that the outters are quite happy jumping out of a plane with a rucksack on because everything will be ok. The ground loves us, the clouds will help cushion our fall and a couple of pheasants we were shooting yesterday will sacrifice their lives to save us.

You are right, the EU is far from perfect but it is better than what the outers are proposing.
At time when the world is beginning to form blocks of Trade such as FTAA, US-MEFTA, T-PP and TTIP countries such as those in the G20, barring China and Russia will be in one of the various blocks.
There is no doubt deals would be done but with the tariffs etc etc and the individual countries having to make sure they stay within the framework of the block they are in, how many years of fucking about will be lost?
I am no fan of TTIP whatsoever but if we are at the table, we have a voice. I would much rather that than the English Donald Trump-lites stomping about that we have at the moment.

Everyone should visit the war graves, a sober sober reminder of what a divided competing Europe did to humanity for many many centuries.

Yes everyone should visit the war graves its a sober reminder of all the people who were sacrificed so the countries of Europe could remain free and have self governance. What a waste of life it turned out to be when the same people who tried to take over Europe, and were defeated, effectively have control now. The European council is no better than the Nazi party on many levels.

That is a pretty pathetic comment and whilst covered up there is an extremely ignorant and xenophobic comment and deeply insulting to Britain and all the people of Europe.

The reality of the outters is showing through tonight hate the swedes , think the Germans are all Nazi's etc

It is this veneer coming off that will win the vote for in I suspect .

You can't deny though that the EU has achieved many of Hitlers aims with a regard to the governance of the continent - aside from the genocide and stuff.

Accuse them of either being xenophobic, racist or preferably both.

Just thinking about my grandfather now who fought in North Africa, Italy and Europe because he was amongst millions that did so for our freedom and sovereignty.

I'll take your comparison with popes and monarchs, but not sure about the Hitler / Gandhi one tbh. Perhaps the fact that the EU has grown out of a trading association to become something with aims similar to popes, monarchs, and dictators throughout European history is in itself a good reason to be sceptical about the EU?

In or out, with every passing day, it seems that the EU is as merchantable as a packet of half a dozen muffins bearing a sell-by-date containing the phrase June 2015! The 'Big Project' is stuttering, spluttering and gasping for air. Twenty odd disparate nations were never gonna make anything of any value unless you develop the most incredible bureaucracy and throw countless billions at it in order to give it a semblance of being a working, valuable model.

Half the countries are in it for what they can get out of it, another different half proceed as though they weren't in it but for the financial benefits, and there's an altruistic rump who are fast becoming very sceptical that it's worth the candle.
