Good luck guys - I sincerely hope this doesn't go the way all the experts predict but I guess we will find out who is right .

Now the next fight starts the battle between the brexiters who want a renegotiated Europe and the Ukippers who want shot .

From deep in my heart I hope this doesn't pan out as I suspect and this will be a renegotiation and not the full stuffing and cranberry scenario.

Socially it is exactly the same thing as is happening with Donald trump support, same frustrations , same snake oil salesmen and same demographics. We will all need to show a lot more respect to the US.

Being honest I feel deeply sad, it's like your favourite pet turkey just changed he calendar to December 25 and you have to stand by and watch .

Glad it wasn't just me. Talked about this being a protest vote against the establishment and EU matters were secondary. And now Emily Thornberry doing the same. Treating the electorate with contempt.

As I wrote before . . . this victory will give the Trump campaign an enormous shot in the arm and galvanize his base -- strong enough to propel him to win even, especially if he can get turn out and Clinton can't. And I agree that socially the movements are very closely related.
 
Is this just a case of people being upset and them thinking that if something (anything) is changed that it will make things better?

It kind of reminds me how many Trump supporters readily admit that he doesn't even have a basic understanding of the world but since he's not a career politician he's worth a shot.
 
All the remainers being interviewed on the bbc insulting the electorate by stating that this was a vote against the establishment and all about immigration....talk about patronising us all , we can and will survive without the EU and are now free to trade with the world something we were unable to do previously , as for the pound plummeting that was bound to happen the stock market hates uncertainty and this once great nation will become great once more , well done 52% of the population

You're assuming Trump's supporters are aware that there are other countries in the world other than Mexico and The Middle East. (They think The Middle East is a country and that every country with predominantly Spanish speaking people other than Spain is Mexico)
