These Euros are refreshing, used to bland and negative games at international tournaments lately. The last World Cup was diabolical but every game so far at the Euros has been entertaining in some way.

Almost hoped Torres would score just to shut the commentators up. Criticising him every time he touched the ball.

At least Torres has been great in recent memory. More than you can say for ITV's coverage which you couldn't even describe as inadequate. Probably upset BBC are going to kick their ass in ratings again when the final is on both channels.

Iniesta did more tonight than he´s done for Barca all fookin season

That's because he was injured for 3 months of the season.

I saw him plenty of times last season and frankly he was nowhere near what we saw tonight. In fact I´d say that was the best game he´s ever played anywhere

Torres doesn't have the pace anymore and hes lost the goalscorers touch but he has somehow developed into a decent passer of the ball who can find space. if he was to be played behind a main striker in a similar role to kaka/ozil at real Madrid, I think he'd really come on as a player

Sorry, he just doesn't have the skill level for that role.

Here we go the Mario haters are having a field day forgetting that he made the pass that won us the league. He had a good game and every striker misses even world class ones. Torres missed about 6 chances why not give it a rest?

He is 21 plays for us and his national team like him or not he is a talent enough to do both.

I've not seen anyone "hating" on him. I just think some people don't view him as this world class striker others spout on about. Yes he played the assist and he has scored some very important goals for us this season and no one is calling him shit. He's far from shit but he's also far from world class. I feel he has fucked up his big chance now and will start on the bench next game which is a shame as he keeps showing promise but no consistency.
