That's the point, I had no expectations I would not have been shocked if they would have gone out in the group stage.
Far to many people equate the international game with the club game, it's nothing like that, sometimes teams that play ugly win, it's about time we got a little pragmatic, we can't play the way Spain do and never have done, but if we can grind out results like that tonight they will do me, City playing beautiful football is good enough for me.
Well done to the team for getting this far and to the manager who has not had long to sort it all out

Not doubting his captain capabilities, and that isn't what was questioned by Blue2112. What was questioned was his lack of personality, his lack of anything. On talksport this morning they were saying the same thing, as his interview lacked anything personality wise.
