Someone with a bit of charisma. Southgate has more of that than Gerrard, and Southgate looks like the bloke who no-one wants to go for a pint with.

So go on then who? Apart from the racist who else in that team is a better captain than Stevie Me?
Not doubting his captain capabilities, and that isn't what was questioned by Blue2112. What was questioned was his lack of personality, his lack of anything. On talksport this morning they were saying the same thing, as his interview lacked anything personality wise. He looks like he is talking about the price of fish rather than what the national football team is doing.

Exactly, he's obviously a great footballer and a great captain but he's one monotonous boring fucker. Im not expecting him to be singing 'footballs coming home' and I understand why he wants to play it down but he goes way beyond that, just give us a smile Stevie G. the country loves you. If he doesn't enjoy giving interviews and Ive seen him after winning a trophy and he's exactly the same then all he's gotta do is take a hint from Zammo and Just Say No.

I don't disagree that Roy has created a team out of this, that he made the right subs etc. However I genuinely don't believe on the 'team' performances so far we would be able to get a result against either Spain or Germany.

I feel Italy will beat England playing a version of catenaccio with either Pirlo for a 1-0 win or Pirlo and Balo for a 2-0.

Wouldn't be that surprised to see England beat Italy, actually. The Italians weren't that impressive against a very poor Irish team the other night. And if Chiellini isn't fit for Italy, he'll be badly missed. Against the Spaniards or Germans, I wouldn't be so confident.

England are very poor, we can't keep hold of the ball, I fully expect Italy to beat us.

I don't know, the form book says yes but Woy knows how to grind out results, and with this set of players I honestly beleive that is the best we can expect.

Milner getting absolutely mauled on Twitter, he's trending worldwide because so many people are taking the piss out of his performance tonight. Lowest successful pass rate on the team too.
