European away games ticketing policy

Thank god for that.. common sense prevails for once

But there will be hell to pay if they completely do away with the loyalty points system

It will be very interesting to see who they consult with.
All I ask for is transparancy, to where/who the clubs allocation of away tickets goes to.
That will open a can of worms and will open a lot of eyes, to just how many tickets, actually get sold through the loyalty system.

I don't believe the points whoring is a issue or a concern with the club , it's just making sure the person buying the ticket is the one that uses it !

I still think that they'll implement some sort of system that makes it so that the person who purchases the ticket has to be the one that uses it.

They'll also probably introduce a ballot at some stage as interest for away games increases.

The strength of our points system is that it began about a decade before the money arrived so it genuinely rewards long term commitment.

Any attempt to introduce a ballot system will be strongly opposed.

So I book hotel and flights on the basis with the amount of points (just under 11000)I have that I'd most probably get tickets and they scarp it !!

Sorted...............all tickets going to the offical travel partner and our corporate friends!!

Someone earlier in the thread said it stops knobheads going, it certainly doesnt ! we were in the queue for 90 mins when a coach full of coked up pricks turned up. One particualr knob said 'it doesnt say anywhere on my fuckin letter i have to queue, so you can all fuck off' and about 15 pushed in the queue. they the threatened someone to knock him out for telling them to get in the queue. It was an absolute farce.
I will echoe what someone said earlier, what industry treats their paying customers in that manner ? Nobody in any other walk of life would stand for that treatment.

Yep, this was right in front of me & is the same as I described earlier in this thread. The 2 lads were about to go at it until one of the lads mates calmed one of them down.

"Under UEFA’s competition regulations, clubs are responsible for the allocation and distribution of match tickets and ultimately for the conduct of their supporters in and close to the stadium. Clubs also have to keep records of the names and addresses of all ticket holders"
So I feel they still need to minimise the chances of people selling on tickets, so Maybe as the collection process has been scrapped a more sensible system will be put on place, many suggestions on this thread .

For Barcelona? Reckon you'll be fine to get a ticket, it's not like it's the first time we've played them so there'll be plenty people sitting that one out
