European away games ticketing policy

I think the issue is around policing the entrances. When we were in Bucharest I was told by a club employee that the introduction of the collection was due to the abuse club staff got. I can only think that was at Juve where tickets with names on were checked against passports. Also the frisking and confiscation was way over the top.
I'm sue the staff who work in a nice comfy office working at their own speed do not see a visit to a foreign country's turnstiles in all sorts if weather facing pissed up blues quiet as enticing as we would.

Not knocking the bloke at all as I think what he does is excellent apart from repeatedly interviewing that annoying ginger kid. Anyway I am sure he says in this video that it is his g/f first away game.It's one thing him getting a ticket and promoting the club in what he does but how does his g/f obtain a ticket?

This is probably the jist of it ! Maybe if fans of all clubs competing required similar cards and the home clubs where responsible for checking them !

Not a season ticket holder.............shouldn't be at a CL away game .....especially with new rules?

No system is 100% foolproof but anything that cuts down on tickets being abused is fine by me tbh
