European away games ticketing policy

You have to provide passport details and the like and you get a card with you photo and seasoncard number on it and the club keeps the passport details safe.

Exactly what we've done with England for years. Picture on card. Quick check. Works a treat.

Yes probably not however it seems other clubs have adopted it either. I can only think the other clubs are not prepared to be involved in this process and would not authorise additional checks near the ground.

I know I wouldn't want to run the risk of my seasoncard being embargoed if I were to try and get a ticket with the intention of not going to the game and simply selling it on.
