UEFA also plan :
1. To play every other game in the dark or on the beach.
2. To make extra tight shorts compulsory.
3. To charge clubs an entry fee payable to the General Secretary’s offshore account.
4. To cover throws in with VAR Review.
5. For the ball to play a jingle whenever it is struck.

Sorry but the old European Cup was better than this shite; since when is Saudi in Europe? I see a top league match in Saudi last week was attended by less than 800 spectators. God save us from these charlatans.

The problem is those charlatans have plenty of cash to throw at UEFA and FIFA.

Also Saudi will expand massively in the next 10 years, a new airport, new airline, new towns and cities.

You have misunderstood. The charlatans are UEFA, apparently planning nonsense for money. Israeli teams already play in Europe for safety reasons. Fancy a crowd of Saudi supporters visiting MaccabI Tel Aviv? Why deprive the Asian bloc of Saudi money? Just Greed.

That wouldn't happen just as Russian teams have not played Ukraine teams for last 5 years before the war started.

Any premier team who decides to compete in it will be fined 250m and docked 30 points!

All premier clubs signed an agreement to this ! So any club deciding to enter this competition it be the end of them winning the premier league ever!

Whether we agree with the idea of a Super League or not, I don't see how the likes of UEFA, FIFA, and the FA can be allowed to monopolise football forever. They don't hold the keys to the sport and if another governing body was formed then they should have a right to establish a foothold.

I was dead against the shitshow we signed up to in 2021 because it was clearly going to be a closed shop and who the fuck wants to play the same teams on repeat every few weeks? However, if something much fairer and more interesting was to be proposed then that would be a different matter.

What do you think of Barcelona, Madrid and Juventus forming the super league, it'd murder the chumps league and I suspect the premier league clubs would find a way out of their PL contract.

It's like Newcastle who signed up to FFP but it's strangling them now, they need a day in court to break free from it IMHO.
