According to talkshite we are to blame for U21 failure well the presenters agreed with a rag from Salisbury when he said we only have Joe Hart who's English.
Why why why do people in the country not realise that English players are simply not that good we are a third rate nation at best. This delusion that we should be competing for world cups is laughable we should scrap the England team it's a complete waste of time.

I saw Pearce being interviewed last night after the game. His body language was Brill, shrugging his shoulders and pretending to look shocked like he couldn't believe what had happened. Come off it you are a useless manager who would have struggled even with a fully strength team. You defo don't blame your players. Its your fault, accept it.
Remember at city all that dancing about on the touch line orchestrating the team. That was all a facade for someone who hadn't got his message accross in training.

I think that each premier league club should be forced to at least field 2 english youth players in their side, or at least have 4 in their 18.
Anyways fuck the U21s, the U20 World cup kicks off 21st June with our first game against Iraq on the 23rd.

Why should professional clubs have to weaken themselves for the betterment of national pride?
If that is done I hope companies around the world are forced to also include a 10% quota or whatever of under 21 nationals.
Young English players should travel the world for work, just as most other people do. Americans, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, French, African, Asian, Middle-Eastern, Australia, New Zealand, South American, Scandinavian, etc. They all find leagues that fit their level and develop into world class.
I really believe that the future could be much brighter for the English FA if they stopped relying on the Premier League to solve their problems. Enable the players to look beyond their current boundaries, I say. :-)

Clubs shouldn't have to weaken themselves, but looking at it in a purely England perspective our England future is looking pretty much shite if the U21s are anthing to go by, hence if you had to field at least 2 English youth players in your side then they'd be playing with proper professionals and playing with these talented stars they may pick up a thing or two.
Don't think fielding 2 youth players would make that much of a difference to a side though really.
Of course it would make a difference to any side. If one of them is a defender your defence has a weak link if one is a striker then you could struggle to score goals, he premier league is not responsible for the national team that is the FAs job and no team should be forced either way if a player is good enough then they will play if they are not then they wont its quite a simple equation really.
