Has anyone else noticed just how good Thiago Motta has been in the Italian defensive Midfield ?? I always knew he was good but not this good ! Would have been nice if we had snapped him up earlier on but there's really no need crying over spilled milk .

Nice to see Javi Martinez get some game time he seems very versatile, physically strong and skilful on the ball. I wasn't quite sure where he was playing! At one point he seemed to be playing striker. In this Spanish system they seem to interchange with one another which I am sure confuses the hell out of the opposition. The Irish were chasing shadows all night!

Been some great players in this tournament so far.

Piszczek, Blaszczykowski and Hummels. All three of these Dortmund players are class acts.

Chiellini and Pirlo have impressed, the only blip was when Chiellini missed his header which led to Mandzukic scoring for Croatia.

Mandzukic has also been a beast.

Iniesta and David Silva have been Spains stand out players.

Dzagoyev from Russia looks like a real prospect and Arshavin was epic.

Nicklas Bendtner has carried on his Sunderland form for Denmark.

Danny Welbeck has impressed me for England. I always thought he was shit and whilst i know he isn't top Class, he is very hungry and gives alot for the team.

Samir Nasri is showing his ability for France and is outshining Benzema and Ribery, but together they do make a fearsome strike force.

If we could sign any of these players then the ones that would improve City for me are; Hummels, Chiellini and Dzagoyev.
