Ever Blue

They can have a lot more than my shit seat for a free season ticket.

Dunno why everyone's getting so excited. They're asking your view on an idea. If you don't like it, tick the box that says you don't like it.

It quite clearly says no-one will be forced to move if they don't want to anyway, even in the unlikely event it was brought it, so what's the problem?

The small print says that the free season ticket is at the swamp.

That's a result then. I've heard they've got that many fans you can sell a brief for every game for a grand a piece. I might buy one of those EverBlue tickets with the proceeds.

Soon they will remove the word Football from our name and we will become a brand just like the bastards from out of town. We have a system in place at the moment, ok it involves a lot of queueing but it costs nothing. This is just another way of taking money off you.

I like the idea of being able to keep a seat forever and passing it down the generations - surely that is something that has never been done before?

I don't like the implications that it would cost more money though. Soriano is exploring all avenues for revenue growth but he better make sure he understands our primary fanbase is not Arsenal, United, or Spurs with lots of rich people from the Home Counties.

That already is the case though. Nobody can take your seat as long as you renew

Yeah great I get to pay for the right that my family get my seat when I snuff it...issue my two sons sit right next to me so completely pointless. For me the requirements should be this simple a ticket exchange that doesn't rip off fans and a installment plan with lower interest. Much like paying for loyalty this idea is a bad idea.

Funny you'd say that.

The idea that you own a seat and can pass on your season ticket is pretty decent in my opinion, however charging the money they were talking about is utterly ridiculous. When i first read it i was thinking a charge something similar to the blue membership not 1-6 times the price of the season ticket.

Some of the proposed compensation for moving seats is just as bad "free tickets to league away game" Fuck off, enough tickets go to corporate supporter clubs etc as it is.

1) People are pissed off because we are more the wiser to the Club and how they will inevitably ignore what the Survey conjures anyway and go ahead with what they had initially intended to do.
When we kick up a fuss they then say: well, we did survey you all.

2) You obviously have no knowledge on Private land then. Believe me, if the Club don't want you there, they won't have you there.

There will be a view unheard voices from Blues who kick up a stink when they are "evicted" but this will be swept under the carpet and we all continue on the Corporate BandPlane

The alright jack mentality is nicely in place. As posted earlier: Rags Mark 2

Sounds very much like the type of ticketing schemes they have in the States, especially for stadia that are somewhat constrained and this supply does not match up with demand. Helps push up prices.

So you pay for the right to go to games and then again for the right to your seat.

Fucking scum bags idea, City can fuck off if they want to be corporate bastards like that.

I think you miss the point.

Look at my last post. It may not be true, buts how i would view it.

when you buy your season ticket you pay for your seat for every home league game, end of, way it has been and it way it should and will always be at any football club with an ounce of integrity/class/dignity and respect for its fanbase.

If a family wants to sit together then I'm sure a small scale free swap can be arranged, there were always opportunities to relocate up till the last 2/3 years so really if they are only noticing an issue about sitting together you have to question whether they've been going long at all.

I told the club they should be ashamed of themselves and I stick by it.

Don't really care, no one's gonna want my seat in 117 anyway and if by some miracle City want to give me a free season ticket to sit in the new level 3 while some corporate JCL wonders why they paid megabucks to stand in row C and see some blue dots in the distance every time the ball is down the other end of the pitch, then I'll say thank you and goodnight.

so so wrong that you could be kicked out of your seat for some1 who fancys that seat and will pay for it with maga money. shame on city for even trying to bring this out

I'm going to re-bump my 'Has the solution become the problem thread Ferran and Txiki'

Let's see who disagrees this time!

Been in south level 2 since we moved.Think I best get saving some more 50ps in my bottle.

They wanna give me a freebie for 12 months then id be happy to move.

Football is being taken away from the true supporters.I told the club in my survey the following

WE ARE NOT ARSENAL.WE ARE NOT IN LONDON.OUR FANS DO NOT HAVE DISPOSABLE INCOME LIKE SOME TEAMS FANS.WE ARE IN EAST MANCHESTER,NOT LONDON.DO NOT FORGET THIS AS YOU WILL RIP THE HEART OUT OF THIS CLUB.

Doubt they care but i am thinking of sharing my season ticket if it becomes too expensive.
Still waiting for the 50 quid cushion..

Read it again.,.. You have to agree to move!!

NOW i'M GUTTED

When I first read it I thought fucking great pay a few extra quid and I could get rid of the knob who sits behind me and has done since the KIPPAX

I would be willing to pay quite a few quid to get him moved to the other side of the ground

Yes you do but the danger is the rules will change in future years and you won't be able to refuse

How about if they want to move you to Row Z in the 3rd tier of Colin Bell and you're offered a £100 voucher for the Club Shop as compensation? That'll cover a couple of shirts and whatever else but the seat up there is poor in comparison to what you have in 216.

A couple of the office administrators at a previous job shared seasoncards with their Brother or Mate as they considered them unaffordable. That was in 2000.

I myself will renew as long as I can afford to do so. Once I can't then I'm done for good.
