And if so how?

When I was about 8 we were playing in a mates garden going as high as we could on the swing and jumping off - I won but sadly ended up on the floor with my arm in a funny shape . I broke my humerus just above the elbow, really nasty they had to re brake it a week later and try and set it straight - it's still wonky

Similar to you BBB in that I was the same age, broke it in the same place, and was outdoors having fun with friends. Happy days ;-)

Then broke my right arm just below the shoulder when I was in my mid 30's (fell on a night out). Pins needed and then a bone graft some months later because it was buggered.

Then did the same with my left arm coming back from the home game v Chelsea just after the takeover. Just slipped on some water (I was sober!!) on the path near Picc Station.

Then broke my ankle earlier this year. Was told by GP it was just a sprain but 2 months later got an X-ray and the fracture was apparent. I'd walked on it for weeks trying to tell myself not to be so soft when it hurt like hell!

Blimey mac have you seen the film Unbreakable? ;)

No ;-) but I'll look out for it

It's just because I'm thin and so break easy I think.

Dislocated elbow, shoulder and finger, broke nose twice, all playing football, bust ligaments in my knee as well that was 6 weeks in plaster.

*Edit , that was some 45 minutes

Over 20 years ago now. I had just got in from work and went to the kitchen to make a vodka and coke. We had a board inbetween the kitchen and lounge to stop the puppy from coming into the lounge and shitting on the carpet. We'd only had it a couple of weeks and it still wasn't house trained.
Just as I stepped over the board, the little fucker jumped up and grabbed the bottom of my pants and tugged.
I went face first into the lounge and as I was still holding my drink I tried not to spill any. I landed with my arm underneath me and it took the full weight of my body.
I knew I'd broken something straight away but my mrs was just rolling around laughing her fucking head off.
When I eventually got a proper diagnosis(that's another story) I had shattered my elbow joint into pieces.
It still throbs every now and then when it's cold or damp, and every so often makes a horrible cracking sound.
I didn't spill the drink though.

Paul Lake's Left Knee said:
Every finger in my left hand including thumb, metacarple (shattered), 2 on my right, 2 knuckles, wrist, 2 ribs, ankle and stress fracture of my back.

Rib was the most painful i think.

How?? I want to hear the how :)

Or fall down a lot ahem :)

Broke my Humerus (Bone at your shoulder Joint) at the head four weeks ago, when I stupidly tripped over my car trailer extension in the garden, walking backwards stretching a bungee hook over some garden waste.

I fell with the full weight on my shoulder, and heard a crack...:)

Had an X ray which confirmed it, in a sling for the first two weeks, in a lot of pain, taking painkillers every four hours, after a few days a MASSIVE bruise went right down to my wrist..(Escaping blood from the bone travelling down by gravity)....I never knew a bone was a living thing containing blood vessels.....After three weeks the bruise went completely away....the blood reabsorbed itself, now I am in no pain, have not used the sling for two weeks, saw the quack (consultant) two days ago, and he said it was 85% OK and SHOULD be fully healed in another eight weeks.

On a scale of severity 0-10, 10 being the highest he said mine was about 4, so I guess I was lucky.
