38 years ago at the tender age of 16 got the first 6 winners in the ITV 7, last race on Muscatite beaten by head by El Gitano, the nag may mate had picked. Won about £500, had I picked El Gitano would have been about £14K which would have bought me a house and a car

Part of a syndicate that got 5 numbers on the lottery, 1 number away from the sixth, instead of a couple of million it was a couple of hundred

Did win 2 out of 3 chocolate bunnies at a school swimming gala raffle though, but it was that hot in there the fuckers had melted

I was 16 numbers out in a 7 digit number on a millionaire maker which were allocated in number order. I reckon I was within a split second of buying the winning ticket!
