Come to mention it, I noticed that as well.Even Ancelloti’s post match interview was probably 80% comprised of talking about city
It would have been quite irritating having to talk about how good your opponent is over and over again... Ancelloti took in good grace, many others wouldn't.

I think Phil Foden's continued development is key to that. If Phil is willing to keep learning and progressing under Pep he might be tempted...Take KDB out Gundogan steps up and runs the game. Take Gundogan out Bernardo steps up and runs the game. Almost as if these players are playing in a excellent system which allows them to excel. Pep is the worlds best atm by far. So lucky to have him..Hopefully we can convince him for two more years after 2023
