Everton (home) Semi Final Tickets

I have argued for a while that we should introduce the interspersed blacked seats which break up the eye line that we have in the Academy seating?

Even one seat empty is much more pronounced in the bolder blue as opposed to any other colour. I also think it looks really good from an aesthetics point.

It creates a very clever illusion.

That was the original idea for the stadium - with grey, yellow, white and blue seats. I still have the drawings at home. I met with some people at city to tell them and they went ballistic claiming the stadium was grey enough. Hence the blue seats - officially know as kippax blue - decided upon the night the game with Ipswich got called off when it pissed down. I went on the piss with Mike Pickering that night too.

I can tell you that a bunch of 'journalists' decided to get their heads together on this one yesterday, in a bid to stoke the fires. Can't even get the official Everton allocation right, knowing an extra 2000 would be another slight on them making up the numbers.
And, of course, there's neither a media bias or agenda against Manchester City

No mate, I'm married to one of them, I know only too well how they chirp away for hours on end, with practice I've managed to block it out, white noise.

It's 2016 mate, there will probably be the odd skirmish but, as someone said earlier, it's Everton, not Millwall.
I married one myself. I know it's not Millwall, I also know there's plenty of bitter evertonians with nothing between their ears that'll relish any trouble. My concern is if too many get in the home end any young kids about are at risk of getting caught up in any skirmishes. If they score, or perish the thought, win the game then my expectations for it to pass of peacefully are pretty low.

Why the fuck are the media concerned about attendances?

The only people who actually seem to care are rag fans as that is all they can hold onto now.

I could maybe understand it if the media was full of rag supporters who wanted to show us in a negative light but i'm sure that's not the case:)

Just remember who said what and don't go buying their papers.

I don't think any genuine football fan would scoff at 50k. A few years ago, we couldn't get 25k for midweek Cup games. That used to really annoy me. A cup quarter final was as good as it got, and we couldn't fill a considerably smaller ground then when it really was a big deal. But times are changing and City's crowds are on the up

Every time I see the ladies team on CityTV, those seats make it look like it's full.

Remember that Ipswich game (and also second time it happened v them) watching the groundstaff trying to use rollers!

We will never win in this regards, so just keep winning trophies.

If it's full, then we are a bunch of glory hunters.

If it's not, we have no supporters.

I can't wait for Pep to really inflict pain.
