Everton (home) Semi Final Tickets

Small clubs don't have a legitimate £350 million turnover, nor do they attract 47000 average attendances in 2004 when we were skint.

Villa, Sunderland, Newcastle, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, City and United have always stood out as big clubs going back 100 years.

All have a rich history, all have had wealthy backers that propelled them at some time in there past, just because our owners have done it it in 21st century in a different economic climate its some how sniffed upon.

I wouldn't have either - I'd have butted one and bit the ear of the other before spitting it back in his face... :-)

The truth is, it depends on the attitudes of the fans involved. If there was friendly chat before hand or they were at an age where they wasn't being gobshites then you'd expect no problems. It's the pissed up scrotes looking for mither that tend to find it.

Martinez implied Everton were a small club with his post match comments. I happen to disagree with him.

What I find astonishing is how this empty seats business has morphed into something so big that fans of clubs that we wouldn't even class as having a bitter rivalry with are now jumping on the bandwagon of ignorance. It's one thing United fans taking the piss as it's something we'd expect from them even if they blatantly ignore that the issue also exists in their own ground but someone on here mentioned that a young match-going Norwich fan was convinced they get bigger crowds than us and when I was having a nosey at KUMB - the West Ham forum - yesterday, one of their fans was commenting about the empties at our place on Wednesday night, and made some snide comment that our fans must've woken up to how plastic a club we are. I was half tempted to join up and point out that there were over 50,000 there and that they'll soon be experiencing an issue with empty seats in their new home due to a much enlarged capacity but then I thought what's the fucking point?
