looking at the everton forums they have all but given any hope up for 4th now. on one of them their planning a poznan for the final whistle for when they get beat

I think you can forget the history in this game. We're a different team, they're a different team.
I'm sure it will be a tough game, but if we put our best foot forward, I'm sure we can win this.
We have gifted teams the ascendency a couple of times this season , recently.

just had a quick look - we beat them 2-3 on april 16, 1995 - the year they won it. was wrong about the scorer though - curle, uwe and walsh

Whats the current consensus with their fans?

Either way I would rather have our team go there assuming that the everton that they will face is in its top most form. If it seems that they give in in the first half and not want to put up half a fight for their mission is done, then we take a few gears down second half providing we've got a fair few goals prior.
