Only 10k? Pfft. We went from Feb '76 to may '11 without a trophy. That's 35 years at 365 days a year = 12,775 days. Plus two and a half months; say 70 days. That's 12,850 days. Plus, say, 8 leap days.

10k? Bloody lightweights.

Good maths only 1 day out I think. We did win the First Division in 2002 but that is not the top League.

It’s been 18,069 days since Sunderland beat Leeds in the 1973 FA Cup final.

And it’s been 24,633 days since Newcastle best City in the 1955 FA Cup final.

I know these have had 1 or 2 decent results but I think come end of the season they'll be right down there. Absolutely turd against united last week.

Don't think it specifies domestic honours only so Newcastle could claim the Inter Cities Fairs Cup of 1969 against Újpesti Dózsa of Hungary as a trophy won.

I did forget about that, although it was never a UEFA competition so does it count?

Far too long for both of those great clubs to go without a trophy either way.

When you think clubs like Swansea Wigan Norwich Coventry have won trophies since Newcastle and Sunderland, and even little Nottingham Forest won a league title, two European Cups, a UEFA Super Cup, four EFL Cups and a Community Shield since… they must be fucking dying for a trophy win up in the North East.

Everton n’all, over 10,000 days now.

We know how it all feels though and really it doesn’t diminish your affection for your football club.

Seems like one step forward two steps back for Everton. Just when it looks like their defence is looking half-decent they fail to do anything going forward.
Another season of lurking around the bottom three is beckoning I feel which will represent a poor performance from the Toffees. Shameful scenes from some of their ‘fans’ at Newcastle the other night too which won’t win them any friends.
Some likeable Evertonians on Bluemoon and I’ll be interested to know how they feel their season is shaping up.

I don't think we'll go down but I can't see us finishing in the top half, and we haven't found a credible replacement for Richarlison.

I see our fans are as classy as ever. Throwing fireworks, for fuck's sake. And this right here is one of the reasons why I don't go the match anymore. It's not much fun if everyone's kicking off.

Still hard to comprehend why you’d let Richarlison go.

The board had to sell someone and he did want out. But we should have at least had a replacement lined up. Reminds me of when we never managed to fill the giant Lukaku-shaped hole.
