A long way to go, but we are looking a lot better than we did last season. Very happy to get the win today, great atmosphere in the ground. The defence looks good and they do not panic and turn my hair grey. Players want to play. Still work to do, but getting there and I have more hope than dread supporting them now.

Has Coady made a difference?

Has Coady made a difference?
He sure has. He is great to watch at the games, he shouts at all the players, tells them what to do, a good leader. We have lacked that for years. His partnership with Tarkowski has been solid. Both prepared to get stuck in, unkike the wimps we have had in the past.

Champions and look at their average gate !! Fucking laughable !!
Whenever you look back at one single clubs attendances you have to look at every other clubs to get the context.
I just looked at that seasons crowds.
Rags 46,000
Liverpool 35,000
Everton 32,000
City 24,000
Arsenal, Newcastle and Sheff Weds all 23,000

I recall going to Villa on New Years Day. 14,000 there including 4,000 Blues! This is 5 years after Villa became European Royalty.....

You forget how poor the crowds were at that time...

@Mad Eyed Screamer Plus I have just looked up why they were playing the University College Dublin which is their lowest attendance that season.
It was the Cup Winners Cup.
It is like using the Auto Windscreen shite to attack City's attendance in what ever year that was.

Can see the toffs maybe being relagated next season.. just depends on which of the three newly promoted teams get the newly promoted bounce much like Brentford did last season.. reckon it might be Fulham..
Genuinely curious, mate. Why are you EX-Liverpool and now neutral?

We were lame against united. Worst game we have played this season. Devoid of ideas for most of the game. Hopefully, just one of those things and we can improve. Spurs next, dear lord!

Are they in same position as Villa and Leicester and can't afford to sack Frankie?

They need a new coach to galvanise them.

Only 10k? Pfft. We went from Feb '76 to may '11 without a trophy. That's 35 years at 365 days a year = 12,775 days. Plus two and a half months; say 70 days. That's 12,850 days. Plus, say, 8 leap days.

10k? Bloody lightweights.

The Vietnam war is often referred to as The 10,000 Day War .
So Everton can now be referred to as The 10,000 Day Wankers !!
