AM Best rates 777 Re’s financial strength at “C-” which equates to “very weak”. This is the second lowest rating, with the lowest being “D” for “default” (basically bankruptcy). Being so close to default, the business will struggle to win new business as well as raise capital to fund themselves, and so it becomes a vicious cycle. Historically the probability of default is about 50% for entities rated at this level.

777 also own Genoa, Vasco da Gama, Hertha Berlin and Standard Liege. Thank god for FFP.

Reading between the lines it is much worse than the BBC article suggests. Wander and Pasko will end up doing very long jail terms.
Maybe or maybe they will give Joe Lewis a call.

Let's be honest here Moshiri is a front man for one of Putin's closest oligarch's. They are trying to offload to dodgy US PE. Just like Putin did with Chelsea.

Who do you want as your manager next season?
No idea mate. I am more worried about the finacial state of the club to be honest. Not sure 777 will be giving us much transfer money if they get to take over us so who would want to manage us?

Yeah, from folk I know who have ST at Goodison they tell me that in many ways those points deductions were the least of the club’s issues.

Some highly regarded managerial talent out there though, inc in the teams heading for promotion up the lower leagues.

I’m guessing you’ll wanna keep most of the current playing squad.

I doubt we can keep Branthwaite. Then again, the situation we are in we may have to let the tea lady go?

Surely they can find a buyer with money in a big footballing city with a new stadium and a failing local rival, no matter what sort of basket case they are? Must be worth a shot of a billion investment to make three over ten years?

How did they fall into the trap of gambling their future on these 777 jokers?

I suppose they are fucked by our old friend profit and sustainability. So much so that they are unsustainable. And Masters cries that the IR will prevent inward investment. What a mess.

Are you talking about the tea lady?

Talking of tea ladies for no other reason than I am at the age when I like to reminisce about past indiscretions, when I was working in Holland we had the most beautiful tea lady I have ever seen. 19 years old, classic beauty face, long flowing brown hair, perfect shape, only spoke Dutch. Took her out for lunch once. She spent all the time nervously looking out for her body-building boyfriend. Didn't go a second time after she explained. :)

But, if you are on here, Jacqueline Schreijnders, you are/were one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen.

Sorry, as you were.
