Everton was very clever in asking the Premier League for more time in this, This was held back from the end of last season and 100% relegation, Now they are 2 points from Luton in 17th and 5 points from Bournemouth with 26 games to play,

The team that went down last season will be going crazy and looking to take court action with the Premier League
and rightly so, Everton should be playing Championship football

If Everton’s ten points deduction was applied last season, how many teams would have finished one place higher and thus gained extra income from the premier league position payment?

No surprise in that I suppose. The big difference is the league still need to establish a case against City which they are clearly struggling to do. Having said that if they were able to make a case against us we now know the penalty will be more than 10 points

Madness people are talking about a precedent when they have no idea of similarities/differences in the cases.

Everton may have only killed one person, but we're being done for a shitload of parking tickets. It is not the same (and we had a blue badge on display so could park there anyway).

Leicester were relegated due to the fraud Brendan Rodgers, he was ok for 2 years (FA Cup win but also bottled UCL spots twice in a row) missed out on Champions League money both years, mediocre for his 3rd year, and final year was abismal. Last year we should have have been competing for Top 6, not struggling to stay up. So I don't blame Everton, HOWEVER if we are speaking technically, since we were 18th and only got relegated because Everton won their final match. Additionaly, we didn't sign any new players in the 22/23 summer window for FFP reasons. Then its definitely fair we recieve that £100m to help us on our journey to playing champagne football next season in the Premier League.

A final point, Everton are very lucky they are given a 10 point deduction in the year that the 3 promoted sides are the worst we've ever seen, absolute dross. Everton are not even bottom of the table now, neither will they be relegated due to how dreadful Luton et al. are

Apparently one of the issues is that we put our own money towards stadium costs, instead of taking out a loan and incurring big interest fees. Shocking
