Everton Thread | 2024/25

He's got a point. Some absolute dickheads in that fan base. This is why he hates them.

I can also recall some scallies ambushing Yerry Mina and intimidating in the street.

Shay Given scored as many goals for Everton and he never even played for us.
What do you make of his comment? In my opinion he's taking the piss, slagging off his employers. Even he'd set the world alight in his time at Goodison, he shouldn't be making digs like that. When he's gone (permanently), then he can say what he wants.

He is on loan with an obligation to buy. Only reason for that is for accounting. He's as good as left permanently.

He's been given an incredible amount of abuse off that fanbase. Fair play to him I say.

He's still an employee of the club and in any other workplace he would be disciplined for gross misconduct possibly. Personally I think he's entitled to an opinion - he was never well liked by the fans but possibly a few players liked him? Bit disrespectful to them but it's only words and he seems to have a reputation at most clubs he's played at.

True: Howard suffered from Tourette’s syndrome and was an important ambassador for children who were afflicted by it.
They asked him if he wanted to be the UK Tourette’s Society Ambassador- he told them to fuck off.

I’m here all week. :-)
