Everton turn on the 'Moyesiah'

Anything can happen in a single game, and Everton are capable of turnng over anyone and should have beaten Chelsea at the weekend

To be fair (and I'm no particular fan of Moyes or Everton) they've shown a great deal of loyalty to the manager, because when things weren't going so well it would have been quite easy to dump him.
They've had a sniff of achievement in qualifying for Europe a couple of times, were shit on from up on high when they were ceremoniously dumped out of the Champs league for their red neighbours and their financial position is one we were in only a few years ago.

We have alot in common which is why I'm perplexed at the hatred and bitterness that's directed our way from Everton.

It's not been so bad this year, probably because we are no longer direct rivals.
I bet the Wigan forums have been getting a load of shite from them though ;-)

Who consists of Everton's 'huge' fanbase outside of Liverpool? I would say we have a larger fanbase than Everton.

Everton draws the vast majority of support from Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire and North Wales

Where are these facts from? I can't see how they attract the majority of fans from Lancashire, especially not in recent times? Though I could be wrong.

Everton rarely come close to selling out their home games, which with good reason, also leads me to believe that they have fair weather fans who come when the going's good. Although, the statistics say that even when the going was good, they still rarely sold out.

moyes would never go newcastle, poisoned chalice of a job, at least he knows where he stands at everton.as for bitterness from evertonians to city fans, not much respect coming the other way to be fair.

most of us are in mindset that moyes has done a good not great job on limited resources. has lots of negative qualities however and will never be everyones idea of a perfect or great manager. try not to believe everything you read on forums lol..

Speak for yourself mate. How has he done a great job? Exactly what has he achieved? What has he won? Oh, sorry he lost in a cup final and once finished fourth in the league 20,000 years ago. Okay more than us in the past few years but our star is ascending, whilst his never did and is on the descent.

...plus the fact he's one ugly mother that looks like Gollum.....and has bug eyes. Apart from that his mum loves him. Tosser.

Wikipedia...yeah, there are places in Lancashire what are near Merseyside.

We hardly sell out at home either.
