This is all beginning to look very Louis Van Gaal. There's no point in pursuing a philosophy if you don't have the right people to implement it, particularly a philosophy so easily undone by the simple method of hoofing it over the midfield to the big man.

What Everton did today was unsophisticated, but even the dog shit teams in our league have honed it to an art form. There's no point bleating that he would have won, having prepared all his sophisticated tactics and superior manpower if only the opposition hadn't been so crude as to not play along, or that the problem is the players and fans "not believing".

The City that won 2 titles has simply gone stale. Yaya, Zabaleta, Clichy are never going to reach the levels needed again. Our midfield is a joke. We are so easy to play through. For the last 3 seasons teams don't have to work hard to beat us.

We have 1 box to box midfielder who is currently in the middle of his 3rd suspension of the season. We have one midfielder out for the season. We have another defensive midfielder who is so slow.

We have so many attacking players that we end up isolating that they become irrelevant.

Bar Sterling, de Bruyne, Sane, Fernandinho and Stones no one should be certain of their future.

We have so many players playing on reputation and so many mental weak players.

This season is a write off so we may as well cast the dross aside and start building now.

We're better off out of European competition next season than being in the Europe judging by Chelsea and Liverpool this season so experiment and see where we are in May.

Why has the bravo thread disappeared? Oh that's right because yet again he was useless. Peps downfall is that decision for me. Why was willy not playing today? Why if sane is seen as a future star is he not playing? Why change the way the best striker in the league plays and render him ineffective? Why loan out two young fullbacks when we are crying out for improvement in that area? It's bewildering
