Everton V City post match

12 wins out of the last 13 games but to read this thread you’d swear the Newcastle result was the norm! As for the match thread, Christ I’ve never seen anything like it!
Last night we controlled the game almost completely. Everton, by common consent, ‘played really well’. They had one shot on target that I’d have saved, whilst we had 15 attempts. It’s not FIFA this football lark it’s bloody hard and nothing comes easy in this league. We’ve got a team full of winners and character in abundance, one of the finest coaches who has ever lived and the knowledge that we’ve done this before. It’s time for us to do our bit and get right behind the team, every game they play, whether they’re having a bit of an off day or not. What a month May could be.....

let me tell you about my match day experience, i went downstairs into my man cave about 730 to watch the match , then and only then I found out that it wasn't on telly, so I watched the wba v brighton game and followed city on my fotmob app and bluemoon match day thread, my app gives loads of info, passes ,chances ,duals, loads of stuff,
now the match day thread resembled nothing that my app was saying , everton had 4 shots 3 blocked 1 on target , but reading bluemoon fuck me,what a bunch of shithouses on there, you would of thought Everton were pinning us back having chance after chance, anyway I put it down to my app not giving me the correct info because surely the people on bluemoon were watching a stream,
on to the highlights on sky, everton had one long range shot that eddie caught easily and city had chance after chance.

the moral of my tale is, bluemoon match day thread is full of shithouses, bottle merchants and know fuck all's , i wont be reading the matchday thread ever again (until next time)

:) haha fuck me I was stressed last night ,when we scored the 2nd I thought the poster was bullshitting, i even looked at his thread count :)to see if it was a wum, never again will I follow the match on bluemoon its the most stressful ways to do it

I never have and never will read a matchday thread while a game is ongoing, too many emotions.

That said, I was worried watching that last night, Everton looked like they had a goal in them and we weren't producing nearly enough in that second half.

All's well that ends well but make no mistake we were made fight for every inch last night, my nerves were shot to pieces by the end.

match day thread is very reactionary and mentally frail :D

yes i agree for all their bluster, they hardly had an effort in the 2nd half. However, the Walker mistake/Richarlison through ball demonstrated that, despite them not actually shooting much, the game did still stand on a knife edge

I thought we had blown it following the Newcastle defeat but if we beat Chelsea, we are surely favorites

Fcuking winds me up on how commentators are calling for a yellow card for Ferni for the slightest challenge.
It goes to show just how scared they are of his influence in a match.
CNUTS.
