Everton V City post match

Don't think we played anything like we can(or could) but i realise this is just going to be a battle now from here until the end of the season. Apart from the last 10/15 i really enjoyed it. Mint atmosphere in our end and as great as last season was you just can't match the buzz that nerves help to create.

Exactly. I sometimes feel I must be watching a different game

You must have missed Laporte header and Aguero overhead that both should’ve been goals. 0-4 then. We created plenty but didn’t put them away so YOU felt uncomfortable. I was pretty calm during the match and saw plenty to admire about how we played generally.

Fickle Ogden, just 48 hours ago he said in a video clip on the same site that he thought Liverpool were favorites; now "City have the edge".

And I'd quibble with his characterization of City's play; the attack may have been uneven yesterday (though we had some great chances in the first half) but I thought we defended as well as we have for some time.

I live in Sale. I leave a home match at the final whistle, never early and get the tram home. I get in the house at 10.45pm.
Yesterday I drove to Everton and parked near the ground and at the end we all stayed to clap the team of the pitch. I was in our house at ………...10.45pm. That has to tell you something about our shite infrastructure around the ground, trams, roads etc.

This could well go down to the last few games of the season, as Pep has said. As long as we keep with in 3pts of Liverpool, I really believe that they will bottle it yet again. As they did when we won the Premier League back in 2014. Even then we were more points behind then we are now, so it is onwards and upwards from here on in. The chances that we missed in this game could well have been goals in another game. The most important thing is that we won. Yes performances may not matter that much as long as we keep on winning the games, that is what is important.

Fcuking winds me up on how commentators are calling for a yellow card for Ferni for the slightest challenge.
It goes to show just how scared they are of his influence in a match.
CNUTS.
It was Beglin, an ex Liverpool player doing the co-commentary to be fair

Game management was poor until De Bruyne came on. We didn't keep the ball well enough. Final 7 minutes we played out well. Bernardo and De Bruyne did an excellent job and we saw it out. Again we failed to take our chances. We had three or four we ahould have scored in the first half and it was the same at the end of the Arsenal game.

Against Chelsea we might not get many so have to put them away.

Chelsea away from home have been indifferent but we looked leggy last night. De Bruyne coming in and Sterling starting should help and we have plenty on the bench. Mendy might start and give us a 60 minute shift which would help too.

We don't have to win the game, but it sure would help us in the long run. It puts immense pressure on Liverpool who would play their game in hand at the rags. The rags will be desperate to beat them.

We are the neutrals choice over Liverpool so most teams will be stepping up against them now. That goes for all games not just away at Goodison and United.

I thought we had blown it following the Newcastle defeat but if we beat Chelsea, we are surely favorites
I think we still have harder fixtures, but hopefully we will have the momentum. They have a relatively easy run in.

Spurs and rags matches for both teams could well be the difference.

Chelsea is the big challenge, we had to put a lot of effort in last night, I hope we can recharge enough to beat Chelsea. If we win, and United beat Fulham, Chelsea will drop to 5th and United will move to 4th.

Pity you can't use the bus then because that works fine. 50 mins max from my flat on far side of town to the ground.
