Everton Vs City Post Game Discussion thread

Seriously, the turning point in the game was another stonewall penalty not given , things like this decide the outcome. Walton is a cheat hand picked for this game, i`m just thinkig whats the point anymore, we`re being shafted out of all trophies, an absolute total stitch up.
Agree its just too blatant

Mancini looked completley dejected and with no fighting spirit left in him.
Everyone is dissapointed when you lose but i think the manager has to
come out fighting !!! At least put a positive spin on things as it gives
the players an excuse....

Players I'd like to be sold and replaced:
Adam Johnson
Aleksandar Kolarov

Players that I'd like to see stay at the club, but not as players we rely on:
Joleon Lescott
Mario Balotelli
Pablo Zabaleta
Edin Dzeko

Who I would replace them with:
Well, that's up to Mancini. Apart from the signings of the two people at the top of the page, I trust his judgement.

Buy van Persie next season and sell Dzeko or Balotelli

I am beginning to wonder if Mancini would know a good forward if he saw one.

mancini was a good forward, so are dzeko and balotelli. Pretty sure he knows a good bit of football..

Re: That was a fukn disgrace tonight.

We just need a break from the officials
The boys worked hard tonight but seem to be obsessed with passing the ball into the net.
Don't think there was any disgrace in that (unlike Walton!)

Re: That was a fukn disgrace tonight.

Typical performance against Everton. They get men behind the ball, defend for their lives, and pretty much every tackle is a borderline foul which we don't get. They are very hard to break down and you have to give them credit for that.
We have to learn to compete physically with teams like this instead of going down easily (Dzeko) or moaning to the ref about their physicality (Kun, Silva, Nasri).

Once they got the goal it was always going to be ten times harder to score, but we only started to move the ball quickly after going a goal down, not good enough.

We have had a lot of bad decisions go against us and with the bans we've had to VK and MB you get the impression that the manager and squad feel like everything is going against them. There's two ways to react to this -get yourself all wound up and lose your grip and concentration -or you get your heads down and not prove to everyone how good you are, and make no mistake we are the best team in the League. But at the moment we're not showing it.

I'm sorry lads...for the loss...don't want to stir shit up, but none of your players were up for it...

and I will only repeat one thing I said when I joined this forum...Mancini will not bring you the league title...

Mancini sounded fed up tonight in that interview just now he looks n spins fed up is it tevez coming back n transfers not going his way

Not surprised he sees his players booked or sent off for very little every week and the opposition get away with murder, must have a psychological effect.

To be honest, that's the impression I got as well. " Can't win, why bother" kind of attitude. He needs to start fighting back though or he'll be on his way.
