This is pretty much spot on for me...their goal against run of play and just after a foul on dzeko

Was a bad challenge not a red IMO but the way this league is going it should of been, if ballo had of done it he would of been sent off no questions asked
I didn't think that was a foul to be honest and Dzeko should have got up quicker. I notice SKY only replayed the Neville hand ball shout and not the 2 clearer penalty appeals. Not much was made of Drenthe's tackle either.

Though ref got it right - played the advantage and booked Drenthe when there was a stoppage

Richards got straight up and got on with it -it was high but was it really a bad one - had it been a City player however a nailed on red would have resulted

There are so many rags and WUMs on this thread, it is embarrassing.

You stick out like a sore thumb, guys.

Go fool someone else.

I sincerely hope that we put in an official complaint about Walton - never have I seen a more biased and blatant cheat as a referee. We may have had some poor officiating in a number of games, but this prick is an outright cheat, as proven over the last few games he has 'reffed' between City and Everton.

He has altered the results of games against Everton more than a few times now and he needs to be prevented from refereeing any of our games.

Our style of play from the start of the season has been most definitely rumbled, i feel. Passing it through the back line now is becoming harder due to the vast amount of bodies in the box the 'lesser' teams put there. It'd be nice to see a few shots from outside the box if this is the case. If playing Dzeko amongst a packed defence more crosses need firing over too.

It seemed there was also a lack of urgency. Passing it around from the back just lets the oppo get themselves sorted defensively, i think. Yaya has been missed in this department for me and in my opinion, we need another strong, powerful attacking midfielder.

Still, we are top of the league at the start of February with a decent set of games coming up. Only Chelsea mid-March is one where i'd happily take a point. The rest we are more than capable of winning.

Next 7 league games.
City-Fulham/Villa/Blackburn/Bolton/Swansea/Chelsea/Stoke
United-Chelsea/Liverpool/Norwich/Spurs/West Brom/Wolves/Fulham
Spurs-Liverpool/Newcastle/Arsenal/United/Everton/Stoke/Chelsea

The glass is half full, friends.
D'accordo!

I'm really disappointed with that showing tonight. Boy did we miss someone like Tevez tonight. Mancini was backed over Tevez when we were flying in the league and smacking 4 or 5 past most teams, the world was sunny and everyone was behind him including the board. let's be honest here, if we win the league which we are capable of doing then Mancini will be a legend, if we fuck it up which we seem to be trying hard to do with some stupid red cards etc etc and we have a world beater sunning his lardy arse in Argentina then it is a decision, Mancini not being man enought to kiss and make up with Tevez and thus depriving ourselves of the sort of player who could have earned us a draw tonight, that will come back to haunt Mancini..
I love him like I love City but c'mon, having a 25 a season goal scorer absent whilst we labour on with someone as slow and laboured as Dzeko does not make much sense.
No doubt I will get subjected to a barrage of reasons why the little so and so should never wear our colours again etc etc etc and I'm half minded to agree with that myself but at the end of the day I want us to win the league and if Tevez can play a part in that the end justify the means.

im very concerned dzeko very poor having too many games like that the other players are even looking dissapointed in him. with five mins to go all we had was nig to bring on.

Love this.

Dzeko is the new black sheep while Aguero can go an entire match completely invisible and who gets the stick? Dzeko. Why? Fuck me if I know why. Has to be somebody's fault, I assume.

Dzeko made a particularly wonderful run today and all Aguero had to do was put it in Dzeko's path. What did Aguero do? Over-hit it by a mile.

Agueros passing is utter shite. There I said it. Aguero is a wonderful dribbler and composed finisher, but his passing is disgusting at times. Dzeko's passing makes him look like another Silva in comparison to Aguero.

And for those fucking muppets that say Balotelli will be - keywords will be - the best thing since sliced bread, where the fuck was he today? Send the fucking idiot out on loan, let him mature, if he ever will, in some shite middle of the table team in Italy.

Our team is screaming for a winger. A man who can take his defender on and create something out of nothing. Johnson's time is well up and beyond. He has become so predictable a blind dwarf will know what he will do. Step-over-step-over, cut inside. Yeah we got that Johnson. Got any other trick in your bag? Or are you just another Walcott one trick pony?

Sure, Yaya is missing, and for those of you who claim we miss the other Toure as well, for crying the fuck out loud. REALLY? Kolo Toure? REALLY???

Yaya is missing, but is that all we are? A one player team?

Milner, one of the few looking like he had a fire in his belly tonight was - taken off. While Barry could not even get a 2 yeard pass straight stayed on. Eez really important to explain, Mr Mancini.

And what the fuck was bringing Lescott off for Kolarov? Was Mancini hoping for a last minute right side free kick? Bringing Richards into the middle, replacing him with a left footed player effectively shut down one of the few that actually looked like a man with a purpose, Micah. Or did Mancini instruct Richards to bomb down the middle like he bombs down the right side? Because Clichy sure as fuck is not going to bomb down the right to put a decent cross in with his right foot.

And the single thing that really blows my mind is - wait for it - we are one goal down with 99% possession and Mancini brings De Jong on? That really took the fucking prize.

When it is Last Chance Corrall time and you don't have any forwards on the bench (do we not have a kid that can get a chance in games like this, when the ususal suspects are looking like complete anemic ebola patients), is the possession football to keep the passing stats up or what? Take off one of the fullbacks or a defensive mid and bring Zabaleta on the pitch for Barry, NOT FUCKING DE JONG, and move Kompany or Richards up to a forward position. Last chance corrall is about getting the ball up the pitch quickly. Not moving it around like if it was the 9th minute of the first half. Or does a 1-0 defeat look better than a 2-0 defeat? Who gives a shit at that point?

And why the fuck was not Hart allowed to move up on the corner?

FFS Mancini, what were you thinking?

I don't think you can call losing at Chelsea, drawing at West Brom, losing at Sunderland, losing to the rags in the cup, losing to Liverpool and losing tonight "a blip".
Chelsea - 10 men, bollocks hand ball peno given. The most blatant penalty the world has ever seen - foul on silva by bosingwa, to make it 2 nil as well. Mancini's fault?

West Brom - 0-0 Mancini's fault we just couldn't score? You want him to go on the pitch himself?

Sunderland - Offside goal in the dying seconds. Mancini's fault?

Rags, FA Cup - Bollocks red card in the 10th minute. Mancini's fault?

Liverpool - Score what SHOULD have been enough to see us through BUT a SINGLE defensive error by Lescott cost us. Mancini's fault?

What the fuck do you want, a magician?

Yes, we have had bad luck. And bad refereeing, and injuries and players missing.

But we have gone from winning every game to winning 3 of our last 9.

This is not "a blip". Carry on like this a we have tossed the league away. Let's hope we can get our earlier form back.

Mancini needs to shout out about it like ferguson does, stop him reffing our games against the scousers. Walton is a fucking degenerate.

I'm pretty sure it's Tevez 'not being man enough to kiss and make up'
