To be honest i was in the pub listening to the pre-match line ups , and wondering why the likes of Yaya Toure were missing an important game due to a 'migraine' .......

the old guy stood next to me turned to me and said "you wouldn't have got the likes of Franny Lee missing a game with a fuckin' migraine , would you??

It was hard to argue with him ...

Probably because the bog roll king never had a migraine in his life.

Certain players most notably the English crew (Hart excepted) are just not good enough to be regular first team players, i can't fault the application and industry of James Miller but technically he isn't up to scratch, Gareth Barry has been excellent for us but i think the years are starting to catch up with him, Joleon once more has been terrific for us but technically he isn't top drawer and don't get me started on Javi Garcia, i've seen enormous oil tankers turn quicker than him, he's only been here since September but £16 million, Benfica had our pants down there.

This - how we can go from Champions to probably finishing about 20 points behind the rags beggars belief. Other than a few games we have played very average all season. Our attacking force has been a shadow of last season We have to many players who are running on fumes - Barry / Garcia / Kolorov / and other were rubish

Could it have been the motivation and tactics of Mancini that got us through last season and perhaps this year he's stepped it up to much, leaving certain players struggling. Honest question.

To be fair todays game was always likely to be tough for us ...... firstly because Everton took a lot of flak last week for their performance against Wigan ... and secondly because they have only lost five league games this season , and only City and United have bettered that ..... they have only lost ONCE at home , and again only the top two can equal that.

Everton played exactly as expected , they simply just gave it their all ......

we , on the other hand , also did as a great many of us thought we would ..... we played badly !!!
