I know it's difficult to compare because we're watching goal action here but anyone thought it was interesting to see how we played then to how we play today ?

Watching Yaya, Dzeko, Tevez, Silva, Nasri, Sergio was fantasy football. So much world class talent.

Was good to see Milner in his prime and wow Micah.. that cross for the first goal was mint.

I barely can watch this, still angry after all these years that prick got rid of a player in his prime, who didn't want to leave and who was playing a big part in getting us to two titles. And to rub salt into the wound we expected likes of Negredo, Jovetic and fucking Bony to replace him.

City played with a policy of rotating between four strikers (initially Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko, and Balotelli) with two playing at any time.

I could see the idea behind that given the very heavy fixture schedule but it didn’t really work with Dzeko as he needed to maintain momentum.

He would have a great match (hat trick away at Spurs?) and then be back on the bench the next fixture.

His best spell for City came in the 2013-14 season when Aguero has injured just on the run in. They started to play Dzeko every match and he scored the goals (along with Ya Ya) that won City the title.

Happy memories from the "original Haaland" ... it takes over 20 mins to get through his 72 goals for City, and you still hear pundits on the radio describing him as a flop !

For all his many memorable goals, my favourite moment (more than a moment, lol) was his playing dead for 5+ minutes at Goodison Park in that 2014 run. That alone made him a legend in my book.
