We can't let sentimentality get in the way of the club. I love Joe, but he's not been good enough. If there is ANY chance of getting Iker Casillas I think we should try.

Get Iker in January this club is not the place for Joe to perfect his craft. Our ambitions are higher than that it's entirely his fault today.

Got to say Platt/Mancini had it right. If we had Begovic and Hart pushing each other and fighting for the no.1 spot I don't think hart would have taken his eye off the ball so spectacularly as he has, and if he still was shit we'd have a potentially world class keeper in begovic to come in and keep Hart out of the team. Top clubs need that competition in all positions, especially if someone's having a terrible spell as Hart is.

Not to kick the guy whilst he's down but just a point to highlight his decision making not being up to the job.

In the first five minutes of the game, Chelsea managed to fizz a ball across the 6 yard box. Hart had plenty of time to see it coming and see that there werent any bodies in front of him but he stayed rooted to his line and let the ball run all the way through, luckily Chelsea never gambled at the back post and went for it.

If only he had stayed on his line at the end.

Well said was saying the same thing to a friend before. The problem now is every morale he makes it's going to be highlighted even more now. Same as de gea few season ago. But it's only fair maybe pantilimon gets a chance thay the real question.

The confused and disorganised defense and defensive tactics are playing a part in Hart's lack of good form.

I still think he is the best keeper in the country (no other keeper is under anywhere near as much scrutiny - and that was the case prior to his poor form too) but there is no doubt that he is now in poor form.

But the shambolic organisation at the back means that he is constantly having to make decisions in situations that we shouldn't expect out keeper to be in.

we've been giving him the support but he keeps letting us down. if pantilimon has a good game Wednesday night, then for me he has to start against norwich. and I also think the celtic keeper will replace hart in the next two england friendlies.
